It is looking likely that I'll be forced to utilise the creditcard company and ombudsman. I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt considering my previous experiences with lenovo in a business setting but after reading the utterly shoddy reviews here, it would appear that even on cheap products they are reluctant to refund. 9 days later, had heard nothing so sent another email, different 'agent' same copy paste. I then updated my request for a refund and had a different agent respond with a similar response. A week later I found the product cheaper and click and collected. Contacted digital river initially for a resend had a response quickly passing it to another team, then nothing. Ordered a clock for 17.99 last month, the courier was poor and sent the package back after only 1 actual attempt to deliver despite having 3 seperate hour slots. It looks like the only recourse for getting your money back from Digital River will be to take a case with the Small Claims Compensation process.Īvoid, support runs you around in circles. I would recommend staying away from Digital River with an exceptionally large barge pole! Purchase from them at your own risk. I even tried to contact Lenovo directly to complain and try and get some traction through them, they didn't want to know, and I was told to contract Digital River directly, even though you start your order process on Lenovo and get passed to Digital River to fulfil the order. hadn't been updated into the ticket to the team who would action the payment. I've been given the runaround with customer support for over 2 months with different agents saying the same stock response it's being looked at, on a call I was told by the agent that my attachments in my email of proof of payment, etc. I made the payment and emailed support to request my refund because of their error. My order was delivered piece-meal in several deliveries and the final delivery of a Chromebook (my most expensive item) which was late came by UPS and they wanted Custom Duty before giving me my product which I had already paid for. I am still awaiting a refund of Custom Duty that I had to pay to UPS to have my product released of an order I made on Digital River Ireland.

The process is either a deliberately designed policy to frustrate the consumer and make them give up or they are so incompetent that they can't even complete basic customer service and common professional courtesy.
An appalling customer service which is designed to generate an email chain with different agents coming back saying they will escalate to the relevant team or communicate back within a set number of hours which they never do. Will Take Your Money & Give You Runaround With SupportĪs another poster put, if I could put No Stars in the review I would. I am at the point now where I am refering the whole debacle to the the UK trading standards, and instigating a fraudulent transaction claim with my card provider! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE FRAUDULENT ON EVERY LEVEL AND ARE UNFIT TO TRADE IN THE UK & EUROPE! Never has the term 'Circle Jerk' been more apt for the experience you will have with these people, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING that these clown's claim to be the distributors for! They have blatantly lied, giving completely fabricated shipping date, on three ocasions saying the item had been shipped when it obviously had not.

How the hell this company is contracted by the Clients it a has is beyond anyone's comprehension! Placed an order for Lenovo Laptop Dec 11th '21 at the time of writing 18th Jan '22 (five weeks 3 days) and they still, after 8 'Tickets raised can not tell me when my order will be shipped! (Ships within 48hrs) Their 'Customer Services' is manned by a team of RESUS MONKEY'S in the Phillippines who appear to be on CRACK or CRYSTAL METH.
